Chair Honn called the meeting to order at 4:01 p.m.

  TOPICS OF DISCUSSION: 
     ORIGIN OF STORMWATER FEE, CURRENT STATUS, ALTERNATIVES FOR THE FUTURE

 
Richard Honn, Stormwater Chair, explained the purpose of the work study session.  The purpose was to make sure all the commission members understand the financial considerations of the Stormwater Utility, particularly on how the Stormwater Fee is the major source of funding.  He further explained how ultimately budgets & future capital improvement projects lead to the following years financial planning.  The work study would give an understanding of where the commission happens to presently stand and the future of the commission.
 
Paul Jungen, Stormwater Engineer, presented the Stormwater Utility Service Fee Proposal that was presented on January 3, 2008, to implement the Stormwater fee. 
 
Phil Trenary, Development & Infrastructure Services (DIS) Operations Manager, explained why some of the Stormwater activity costs have been allocated to the Street Budget. 
 
Chair Honn presented the FY 2012/2013 Annual Budget, the Stormwater Utility section of Development & Infrastructure Services (DIS).

MOTION: A motion was made by Vice Chair Parker and seconded by Commissioner Mikolaitis adjourn the meeting at 5:38 p.m.
