MINUTES ORO VALLEY TOWN COUNCIL SPECIAL SESSION NOVEMBER 12, 2020 ONLINE ZOOM MEETING

Executive Sessions - Upon a vote of the majority of the Town Council, the Council may enter into Executive Sessions pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes 38-431.03 (A)(3) to obtain legal advice on matters listed on the Agenda.

SPECIAL SESSION AT OR AFTER 5:00 PM

CALL TO ORDER

Mayor Winfield called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.

	Melanie Barrett, Vice-Mayor
	Tim Bohen, Councilmember
	Harry Greene, Councilmember
	Joyce Jones-Ivey, Councilmember
	Josh Nicolson, Councilmember
	Steve Solomon, Councilmember

EXECUTIVE SESSION - Discussion or consultation for legal advice with the attorney or attorneys of the public body pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(3) related to property commonly known as the former Vistoso Golf Course


				Motion by Mayor Joseph C. Winfield, seconded by Councilmember Joyce Jones-Ivey to go into Executive Session at 5:03 p.m. regarding discussion or consultation for legal advice with the attorney or attorneys of the public body pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(3) related to property commonly known as the former Vistoso Golf Course Discussion ensued amongst Council and staff regarding the agendized Executive Session.


				Motion by Mayor Joseph C. Winfield, seconded by Councilmember Joyce Jones-Ivey to go into Executive Session at 5:13 p.m. regarding discussion or consultation for legal advice with the attorney or attorneys of the public body pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(3) related to property commonly known as the former Vistoso Golf Course

Vote: 6 - 1 Carried

OPPOSED:

Councilmember Steve Solomon

RECONVENE SPECIAL SESSION

Mayor Winfield reconvened the Special Session at 7:21 p.m.

ADJOURNMENT


				Motion by Mayor Joseph C. Winfield, seconded by Councilmember Joyce Jones-Ivey to adjourn the meeting at 7:22 p.m.

Vote: 5 - 0 Carried

Other:	Councilmember Tim Bohen (ABSENT)
	Councilmember Harry Greene (ABSENT)

Councilmember Bohen and Councilmember Greene were not in attendance for the Adjournment.
