COUNCIL LIAISON COMMENTS
Councilmember Solomon reported that the Town Manager had resigned and the Assistant Town Manager would fill in until a new one is recruited and appointed.  The process will likely take 6-12 months.  He also asked the Commission to save the date for the Volunteer Appreciation Reception to be held at the Hilton El Conquistador on December 15th at 6 p.m.

PRESENTATIONS

   1. Historical Society Report
Devon Sloan, secretary of the Oro Valley Historical Society, reported that the Pusch House Museum and Tours season kicked off on September 10th and will take place the first, second and fourth Saturdays of every month. Outdoor tours take place on the third Saturday of each month through April. She asked how long the construction containers would be on site, and once removed, if there would be landscaping on the path to reach Pusch House?  She asked that the brown directional "Steam Pump Ranch" sign be moved to a more visible location and if there was a possibility for additional directional signage.  She asked if the State was involved in demolition at the Ranch. She requested that anything that might be unearthed during demolition be offered to the Society so that they might have the opportunity to see if anything might be worth saving.  Lastly, she mentioned that the carriages were in need of preserving.
