1.	REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF THE APRIL 24, 2018 REGULAR SESSION MEETING MINUTES

4-24-18 Minutes

MOTION: A motion was made by Member Schoeppach and seconded by Vice Chair Roach to approve the minutes with one edit: the word Verizon is typed twice in the Executive Session section.

MOTION carried, 4-0.

2.	PUBLIC HEARING: Request for a variance to reduce the required rear yard setback from 30' to 11' to allow for the addition of a porch onto the rear of the house located at 715 W. Granite View Drive (OV1800918)

Senior Planning Technician Patty Hayes gave a presentation that included the following:

Discussion ensued amongst the Board, staff and the applicant/homeowner, Mrs. Brandt.

Chair Dankwerth opened the public hearing.

There were no speaker requests.

Chair Dankwerth closed the public hearing.

MOTION: A motion was made by Vice Chair Roach and seconded by Member Schoeppach to approve OV1800918, a variance to reduce the rear yard setback from 30' to 11', based on the finding that the five criteria have been met.

MOTION carried, 4-0.

Chair Dankwerth adjourned the meeting at 3:13 p.m.
