Chair Dankwerth led the Board and audience in the Pledge of Allegiance.

There were no speaker requests.

Council Liaison Solomon did not have any comments.

5-22-18 Minutes

MOTION: A motion was made by Member Schoeppach and seconded by Vice Chair Roach to approve the May 22, 2018 meeting minutes as written.

MOTION carried, 5-0.

Section 21.6 of the Oro Valley Zoning Code

Planning Manager Bayer Vella provided a presentation on the five criteria used when reviewing cases as well as examples for each. He spoke about code writing and the role of the Board of Adjustment.

Discussion ensued between the Board and staff.

Planning Work Plan approved by Town Council

Planning Manager Bayer Vella provided a presentation on the previous Work Plan accomplishments and the new Work Plan goals. The Planning Division's Work Plan is reviewed by both the Planning and Zoning Commission and Town Council. He spoke on the number and types of Board of Adjustment cases from 2013-2018.

Discussion ensued between the Board and staff.

The Board asked for an update after the July 18, 2018 Town Council meeting on the Community Facility Code Amendment.

MOTION: A motion was made by Member Barcelo and seconded by Member Perkins to adjourn to meeting.

MOTION carried, 5-0.

Chair Dankwerth adjourned the meeting at 4:04 p.m.
