CALL TO ORDER AT OR AFTER 6:00 P.M.

Chairman Sakellar called the meeting to order at 6:01 p.m.

Chairman Sakellar opened and closed the call to the audience without comment.

Amendment to Master Sign Program for the Shops at Oro Vista, located at the southeast corner of Lambert Lane and La Canada.  This amendment would permit additional wall sign colors.  OV307-002A. Chad Daines, Senior Planner, presented the following:

- Summary

Discussion ensued amongst the Board Members and staff regarding the proposed wall sign.

MOTION: A motion was made by Member David Atler and seconded by Member Gil Alexander recommend approval with conditions of the amendment to the Master Sign Program for The Shops at Oro Vista, located at the southeast corner of Lambert Lane and La Canada, subject to the conditions on Attachment 2.

MOTION carried, 7-0.

Planning Manager Update


Chad Daines, Principal Planner, represented the following:

- August 23rd neighborhood meeting for Northeast corner of Tangerine Rd. and La Cholla rezoning.
- Desert Sky Subdivision request to amend the zoning conditions to allow two-story homes.
- Rancho de Plata General Plan Amendment and Rezoning request.
- Met with representatives from Homewood Suites to discuss possible development scenarios.
- Dunkin Donuts proposal to add a drive through and repaint the building.
- Model home architecture for Rancho Vistoso Neighborhood 6.
- Meeting with wireless providers to identify and assess long range plans for wireless facilities.
- April 2nd the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the Oro Valley Town Centre PAD Amendment.

ADJOURNMENT

MOTION: A motion was made by Member David Atler and seconded by Member Kit Donley to adjourn the Conceptual Design Review Board meeting at 6:17 p.m.

MOTION carried, 7-0.
