MOTION: A motion was made by Harold Linton, Member and seconded by Nathan Basken, Member to Approve the June 12, 2012 regular session meeting minutes.

The following public comment was made:
Bill Adler, Oro Valley resident, commented on trade mark color of the sign, brightness of sign colors and consistency of signs.
MOTION: A motion was made by Gil Alexander, Member and seconded by Dino Sakellar, Chair to Amend number two of the Conditions of Approval, to read "Only one color from the approved color palette can be used for the sign face for all letters on one line for a sign of a business".
MOTION carried, 6-1 with Harold Linton, Member opposed.
MOTION: A motion was made by Gil Alexander, Member and seconded by Richard Eggerding, Member to Approve OV312-004, a revised sign criteria for all parcels included in the Capin Care Center, based on the following findings: The proposed Sign Criteria is in conformance of the applicable Oro Valley Zoning Code Sign Code, Design Standards and Principles and including the revised Conditions of Approval, Attachment One.

1. All existing permitted signs that do not comply to this Sign Criteria shall be permitted to remain. Any change or modification to an existing sign shall require conformance to this Sign Criteria. 2. Only one color from the approved color palette can be used for THE SIGN FACE FOR all letters ON ONE LINE FOR A SIGN OFof a wordfor a business. Different colored or multiple colored letters cannot be used for one word.

Mike Carlier, Oro Valley resident, commented on consistency, issues with the HOA and the flexibility with the home buyers.
MOTION: A motion was made by Gil Alexander, Member and seconded by Kit Donley, Member to Amend Attachment One BY striking the third paragraph.
MOTION carried, 7-0.
MOTION: A motion was made by Gil Alexander, Member and seconded by Rachel Childers, Member to Approve with the conditions in Attachment One, Model Home Architecture (Plans Ford, Fenton, Fremont, Franklin and Fletcher) for the lots specified in Attachment One for Rancho Visotoso Neighborhood 10 Parcels S, U and V subject to the conditions specified in Amended Attachment One, finding that the proposed Model Home Architecture meets the applicable Zoning Code Review criteria.

July 10, 2012 1. Models approved for Rancho Vistoso Neighborhood 10 Parcels S,U and V, lots 1-6, 8-11, 13-49, 67-71, 103-105, 129-134, 139-141 and 2072. A front courtyard wall (at least 3’ in height) must be provided for model Fremont when the 2’ or 4’ garage extension option is chosen. Courtyard walls shall be finished with materials and colors from the approved palette.

Stone veneer as shown on elevation “C” or other accent material(s) as approved by the Planning and Zoning Administrator shall be a standard feature for all elevations of each model.
