OV3-09-01A, McDonald’s Corporation, represented by Fluoresco Lighting and Signs, requests approval of an exemption from the Rooney Ranch PAD sign standards, for a proposed restaurant in the Rooney Ranch Parcel B, located in proximity to the northwest corner of Oracle Road and First Avenue, parcel # 220090260.
The exemption would permit McDonald’s to utilize the Oro Valley Zoning Code Revised sign standards, which permits a wider range of signs. For questions and additional information, please contact Jonathan Lew, Planning Technician, at (520) 229-4853 or jlew@orovalleyaz.gov.

Member Ottley confirmed the additional square footage of the drive thru signs would be 3 feet not 11 feet as written in letter form. The applicant confirmed the additional footage would be 3 feet.
Jonathan Lew, OV Planning Technician, provided the staff report. Mr. Lew reviewed the following:

- PAD
- Existing PAD standards
- Deviations for the PAD
Mr. Lew said staff recommended the DRB send a recommendation of approval to Town Council with the conditions in Exhibit A.
