MAYOR AND COUNCIL REPORTS ON CURRENT EVENTS
|
|
Councilmember Jones-Ivey recognized Aminiah Ochoa, a eighth grader at Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Middle School, for her academic excellence and community involvement.
Councilmember Jones-Ivey encouraged citizens to volunteer for Project Graduation and to attend or participate in their workdays and fundraisers.
Vice Mayor Barrett congratulated the Canyon Del Oro High School Football team and the Ironwood Ridge High School Mens Golf team for winning their respective State Championships.
Councilmember Greene provided an overview of the Health Care Benefits Trust meeting held on December 5, 2023.
Councilmember Bohen reported on his experiences while utilizing Town facilities.
Mayor Winfield reported that he had received an email expressing appreciation to the staff of the Oro Valley Town Court, for their efforts to ensure that jurors were comfortable and taken care of during a recent court proceeding. |
