REGULAR SESSION AT OR AFTER 4:00 PM

CALL TO ORDER

ROLL CALL

CALL TO AUDIENCE - at this time, any member of the public is allowed to address the Commission on any issue not listed on today’s agenda. Pursuant to the Arizona open meeting law, individual Commission members may ask Town staff to review the matter, ask that the matter be placed on a future agenda, or respond to criticism made by speakers. However, the Commission may not discuss or take legal action on matters raised during "Call to Audience." In order to speak during "Call to Audience", please specify what you wish to discuss when completing the blue speaker card.

	1.	Chairman Beasley stated he was going to read the Call to the Audience so that everyone understands what is going on with the blue speaker cards. Chairman Beasley stated there were a number of blue cards with virtually all listing item #3, which is golf. Chairman Beasley stated per the statement he read, and Town Policy, the Commission was not going to take any discussion from the audience, as golf is listed on the agenda.

COUNCILMEMBER LIAISON REPORT/COMMENTS (This item is for Liaison report/comments only, no discussion is allowed)

	1.	Mayor Winfield informed the Commission and the audience a Town Council Special Meeting would be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 located at the Church of the Nazarene at 6:00 pm to discuss golf. He stated this meeting is open to the public.

REGULAR SESSION AGENDA

	1.	REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF THE JUNE 18, 2019 REGULAR SESSION MEETING MINUTES

	2.	REVIEW AND DISCUSSION OF FINANCIAL STATUS UPDATE THROUGH MAY, 2019

	3.	Ms. Lemos gave an overview of the financials through the month of May.

	5.	REVIEW AND DISCUSSION OF FINANCIAL PROJECTIONS FOR TOWN GOLF COURSE OPTIONS AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING POTENTIAL RECOMMENDATION TO TOWN COUNCIL

	6.	Ms. Jacobs gave a summary of golf options. She referenced a memorandum she submitted to the Council. She stated three (3) scenarios were created to give different projections for the golf course. Chairman Beasley and Commissioner Solverson submitted a spreadsheet document they created, to the Commission and staff regarding options for the golf course and expenditures for each option. Commissioner Newell asked where the numbers came from to create the document. Chairman Beasley stated some numbers came from Ms. Jacob's memorandum. Commissioner Solverson stated the numbers that did not pertain to golf were taken out. Ms. Lemos mentioned on the first sheet, the last 3 years revenue and expenditures were removed but the revenue from food and personnel costs still appear. Commissioner Solverson stated she would make the correction. Vice Chairman Latchford asked if the document could be emailed to him.

7.		DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING THE POSSIBLE CANCELLATION OF THE BUDGET AND FINANCE COMMISSION MEETING FOR AUGUST 20, 2019
