CALL TO ORDER

Chair Swope called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

STUDY SESSION AGENDA

DISCUSSION REGARDING THE ROLE, RESPONSIBILITIES AND CONDUCT OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION

The Commission, staff and council liaison participated in an exercise to learn everyone's name. Planning Manager Bayer Vella summarized the role and responsibilities of the Commission, emphasizing the importance of the merits of applications, the General Plan and Town Codes. Chair Swope provided a presentation on the key points to serving as chair of the Planning and Zoning Commission. Staff presented "Good, Bad and Ugly" related to Commission conduct.The Commissioners participated in an exercise to list their top 5 Do's and Don'ts related to Riggins Rules. Each Commissioner shared their most important takeaway from tonight's session.

Chair Swope adjourned the meeting at 8:06 p.m.
